The Unsustainable Course of Interest Rates
I do think we're on an unsustainable course the question is how urgent an issue is that unsustainable course and I'm willing to be a little bit patient but you know I may regret that. There actually was a structural shift in the economy high-income households saving more China saving more businesses need to borrow less to finance their big capital expenditures and the like so all of the structural changes are still with us. If you told me any economic variable I want to know productivity the second one I'd probably know is what would the real interest rate be over the next 20 years because it really does affect a lot of what we've been talking about.
