Why Is It So Hard to Write a Book?

Just writing a good title does not mean you 're going to sell five million copies. Just getting an interview on c b s this morning does not guarantee that the book is going to sell. Most people don't have the patience, after having spent two or three or four years on that part, to go into a whole year of marketing and actually plan out an actual launch strategy. That's all done before launch day. So thas, it's all work up front and no reward for doing it.
