Is the Philosophy of Mind the Answer to the Divisive Debates?
In my time there was a move to the philosophy of mind being all important and suddenly we were dealing with mind. Wittgenstein stopped doing the job of tidying up language and said look at language and see how it is. Could rationality and logic be the antidote to the divisive disputes that beset current culture or is it merely increasing tensions Barry? I feel Hillary that you're perhaps more suspicious. It's actually quite hard to say when people are disagreeing they think they're disagreeing but actually they're using terms slightly differently they're talking past each other.
