The Rise and Fall of Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson is systemically corrupting the process of politics by lying about it. And he thinks, well, when does he get found out? How much more of this do you need to see before it becomes just an accepted fact? He exploded in precisely the way that someone who tells too many lies and can't keep all the plates spinning would be expected to explode. So yeah, that would be my cause for hope. There are a muscle reflex for news, ultimately, that if somebody has a good story, we'll run it. Even they'll tone it down.
