The Accelerating Process of Novelty Conservation
Science says that what we're seeing is an illusion or that it doesn't matter. It's not a law of the universe that novelty be conserved and each new level of novelty proceed more quickly than the one which was its parent so by chopping it off like that human history is denied any relevance in the natural order. No possible future can be imagined now people talk about this but they never draw the implications you've probably seen some show on television talk where they say these trends are headed for infinity.
