Are You Going to Drop the Baton?

This week at the Elder Meeting, Sean was bringing up a friend of mine who was like a Christian performer type of guy. But now he's decided to nearly ditch the faith completely but he found the most progressive Christian church he could find. And I thought about that. Wow, so many people are doing this and they call it progressive. Does that make you sad? Think about the 6,000 years of human history people have held on to the truths of this book. It was passed on, passed on, passing on until our generation. We're the first generation of church where the church itself is saying, I think that's okay now.
