In my opinion the adl conflates uses anti-semitism to its advantage in that sense so maybe it will on occasions point out real troubling examples of anti- semitism. Other times it will conflate anti-Zionist rhetoric which is fundamentally political and not racist. Before war two most jews wereAnti-Zionists but then you could make examples of this about how contradictory they are or inherently hypocritical.
