The Current Treatment for Bronchitis

The treatment for bronchiolitis is really not fantastic and I don't have any awesome suggestions for you other than to focus on supportive care. The routine use of nebulized treatments like epinephrine, salbuteumol or 3% normal saline are not recommended in any guideline at this point. At the present time there's really no rule for oral steroids in the treatment ofBronchiolitis. So if it's true that we're going to start seeing older kids with bronchioliti this is where it can get a bit sticky differentiating this population from young asthmatic patients.
