The Fear of Intelligence

Robert J. Oppenheimer's life shows how intelligence is feared and even despised, writes David Frum. He says humanity has feared those who have the intelligence to see further into reality. A better model of intelligence than brute quantification of IQ scores was proposed by Michael Lamport Commons; it proposes 16 stages of intelligence. The film "Oppenheimer" is a study in why we fear such intelligence, he adds.
