The difficulty of the language really isn't what determines the success of a lingua franca or an IAL. But the difficulty is something that people who create IAL is aimed to reduce. So if you have, if you already know that fua is the verb portu dai and you encounter a fua, then you have a reasonably good idea of what the notion is about.
