The Struggles of a Director
I like to be agreeable. I think prop as a DP, I'm sure you've been in situations with directors that are being stubborn. So you have, but hopefully that just means that you have sympathy for both sides of the equation. It doesn't make it any easier. You sit there and go, fuck, I have to be that guy that I was yelling. But I mean, this stuff is real. And so, I'm happy that we're chatting about all this. The power of actually physically doing it is oftentimes more powerful than even going to film school for that sort of stuff.
