C: I think spin offs are good as a way to value stuff without seeing what its going to spin off at, so you have a realistic idea of it. He says very small spin offs could be interesting, especially because no one wants to keep the part that's spun off. C: Even with the babcock and wilcox thing, i don't think that would have led to such a a pricing if the company had a long history.
