The Secrets of the Castle

The building had more inside its wall than was expected. Aside from the 35 guest rooms, the second floor was a labyrinth of passages. Trap doors led to staircases that led to hidden chambers. Some were equipped with gas jets fed by pipes from the basement. Others were lined with asbestus and had visible scorch marks on the floor. There was a room that could fit single person, and only then if they were standing.
