Sonnets Are Full of Love

Christina rosetti wrote a sonnet about maternal love, usually associated with erotic or romantic love. She seems to subverting conventional expectations and elevating a more stable, enduring and grounding kind of love. And we do see that in this poem when she says, the love of a motherte whose blessed glow transcends the laws of time and change immortal life and death.
