Chinese food in America is very different from that in China. When you go into San Francisco, Chinatown is a huge place. You can actually find many of the things that Americans eat there. It's not really domestication, but I sometimes find myself when we order pizza and I ask for marinara sauce,. And they will give me ketchup as well. So I just have to make do.
