In 1956, in the midst of this massive structural change of agriculture in Mexico, Zolo was basically cut off from working in his area of specialization around corn. His last position during his time with the Rockefeller Foundation was actually going to study grasses at Harvard. So they took him off of corn and these motherfuckers literally sent him out to pasture like with grass. I know corn corn is a grass, but still damn. Grass is interesting. Don't go knocking grass.
