i grew up in southern california, near near the beach, so there was a lot of that in the air. And i've always been very attuned to this sort of ananthropological matrix. But some friends at college who were also into the seventies and sincks didn't theorize too much about it when they hit adolescence. It's not like some resistant esino, esoteric thing. It's just whose, right? Who's drawing the comic books? Heads? Whos? Whsin the studio? heads? You know, whos? Whos doing f m radio?"
