The Importance of Case Laws in Israel
The laws are given to Israel for their particular time and their particular place. If a man gives to his neighbor money or goods to keep safe and it is stolen from the man's house, then if the thief is found, he shall pay double. The case of both parties shall come before God, the one whom God condemns shall pay double to his neighbor. And I think that probably what's revealed as Urim and Thummim where there are these two stones that are in the high priest's breastplate. So again, we see that this is located in specific people who have no correspondence to anything in our system.
