Right now it's pretty clear that people are having a hard time finding the child care that they need outside of the home and also that it's become increasingly expensive to do it. I think it's particularly consequential for women who are often more constrained by child care responsibilities than men are. The very nature of care means you got to have some face to face hands-on interaction. Maybe technology is going to improve the quality or change the nature of it, but it's basically a pretty labor-intensive and emotionally intensive kind of provision.
