Is Membership Rewards a Good Thing?
You can often fly business class one way to Europe with programs like Air France for about 55,000 miles. You might be able to get Iberia business class from the East Coast for 34,000 miles one way. And there are lots of other examples in that range between 35 and 50 or 60,000 points. If you have an MX card right now that earns membership rewards points, then you probably have the ability to refer new card holders and earn both a points bonus.
