Studying With Pothoma Flashcards

I see many students using this pothoma book for pathology or whatever. And I kind of feel like there's something about it that doesn't work that well. Like if your first introduction to some material is through a flashcard, it seems like that's encoding in a different way than if you read it within the context of everything else and then you converted it to flashcards. You know what I mean? Sure, I think that's becauselike flashcards are more personal in a way than like books could be. But actually it relates to, relates to a point that James made, which is the Enking deck continually improves.
