Britta Jensen was an English teacher at the Twin International School Centre near Ulfbal. The name of Britta's school twin means wind. It's on the west coast and that means one thing: it gets pretty windy. You cannot stop the wind from blowing. You cannot monopolize it and it is decentralized and it is there for everybody. But this was 1973. Wind turbines existed but only on a very small scale. They'd been used in the USA on farms since the 1930s but only produced several kilowatts of energy at the most. Nothing like the electricity needed to power a school. And then we decided we have to make our own energy supply. Sounds simple right
