Gun Violence and Suicides - I'm a Gun Owner

i was legally permitted to have a gun as an 18 year old without any serious run ins. So the system qt worked. And unfortunately, the system working in this case means a couple a dozen dead people. I understand why there are millions of americans who love to shoot guns and and see a reason to own them. But i am also a someone who has never believed that calling nine one one is a reasonable strategy for self defense if someone breaks into your home intent upon harming you or your family. There are many reasons to think that's just not true in one's own case. To not fear one is self deceived.
