"I remember the first time i felt proud. I was in camp," she said. "Things got murky for me around third grade." She began taking antie depressine medication when her son was a year and a half old, but then went off of it while pregnant with her daughter. The book is now being adapted into a movie by director Spike Jonze. It will be released on September 14.
