How Did You Learn to Speak Chinese at Home?
I was watching TV growing up in the early 80s, and that's what was on most of the time. My grandparents never limited my screen time. I think maybe it had something to do with how adaptable I was able to be later on. Unfortunately, my dad also wanted me to be Americanized, so he didn't require me to continue with my Chinese at home. Our son is actually in a Spanish immersion school.
