Trust is usually generated when people feel they are involved in a common endeavour. So i wonder whether democratic institutions, and we had to look at the most vulnerable ones at the moment. The media got very, very, you know, self congratulatory that we were the fort o state,. But were we really? Were we doing very much for the people? Did we lose our contact? Did we stop being useful? How can there was that gap that they could operate on?
