I truly for once in my life believe that the universe just moves Rick Rubin around where it needs him. There definitely is a gene or DNA that you need for the Grateful Dead. I have never gone. But there's a common theme here with Rick in liking hip hop, dirty comedy, forbidden fruit. Because we do know I can't hold on. He's a guy. Get F.O.D.L.A. Well, no, he thinks those are for a check. And then you want people to buy that. It was the ultimate no fucks given.

Two words for this week; Rick Ruben.

As I sit here and type this, we celebrate our 4 year anniversary! It was on this day, the same day our country legalized weed, that we went out and bought the worst gear money could buy and sat down to do something we had never done before. None of us knew anything about recording. We knew nothing about audio, video, or anything to do with editing them. We really had no business starting a podcast at all. But we did! And here we are, exactly 4 years later. Better gear, still no idea what we're doing.

All this is to say thank you! I truly never though anyone would listen. Nor did I think we'd be sitting here 4 years later still trying. First four was a grind but well worth it. Next four....
