The Fed's Pause Rhetoric Is Nonsense
The Fed is basically not giving any indication that we're in for a pause so rates are adjusting. Two year yields north of three and three quarters percent now they could get to a forehandle very easily as the two year yield is a extrapolation of Fed funds over the next two years. I do believe that the economy is slowing and the Fed will have to pause its hikes but I also believe that when it gets to the pause it'll keep it there for a long time this idea that we're going to get QE soon or rate cuts soon is nonsense, says John Defterios.
