Cronoviruses - A Brief History
Ralph berrick is head of arguably the most significant coronovirus lab in the united states. He'd worked on the original sars virus but until this point, his work was heavily focused on viral structure rather than ways to stop them spreading. The madurna vaccine needed to be tested to demonstrate that the vaccine worked and that the vaccine didn't cause any sort of vaccine induced adverse reaction. We had to have really good data that show that it was safe and effective.
