The Death of Hugh Morgan

William Harker, 27, was with Hugh Morgan when he died. The two were looking for quail each with a shotgun but had only one dog. They heard an animal thrashing about in the bushes which we could see were violently agitated. "I wish we'd brought a rifle," said William of his friend's death. A part of my purpose however was to study him and his odd solitary way of life" He seemed a good model for a character in fiction.
