What Structure Should Foundationalism Have?
The state cult is closely analogous to late Roman practice, where none of the traditional indicia we associate with religion are present. Maximizing society of flourishing is the goal for a strongly Christian society that has a state of very limited ends but unlimited means. But foundationalism is not an ideology, it is not guaranteed perfection, or promised bad times will be avoided.
