Don cornelius was the host who made you feel like you were a part of the show, watching from home. But as much as don really seems tied to soul train and dance and music, he had a bunch of jobs before that show. He worked as an insurance and car salesman. And then after all that, he took a broadcast course and became a dij and a sports anger in chicago.
