The Importance of the Latin Vulgate in the Church

The Latin text of the New Testament had been used for quite some time in the Western Church. When you look at the first century, the New Testament is written in Kwanagreek. But when Jerome has his Latin translation, the Latin Vulgate, it's not just Jerome by himself that determines what the Vulgate is. Some of those significant shortcomings are going to have an impact on the doctrines of Rome.
