In most ordinary environments, there is a signal around beauty and fitness. High heeled shoes are things that some cultures use to send or receive signals about affiliation and status. You don't wear sneakers to the senior prom, except nowi to do, which is probably a good thing because three inch shields are not effective. Three inch shields do not help us thrive.
