Michael Moynihan had a friendship mentorship with Christopher Hitchens during the last decade of his life. He met him at a co-burn in 2006 and said it was "like a whirlwind" The two writers disagreed on many things, but they were good friends who enjoyed each other's company. Michael says he has never been able to get over that first meeting.
