The Role of Illiteracy in Behavior Problems

I see a lot more illiteracy. I just see so many students who are coming to me, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth grades,. They wouldn't know what vowels are. Very few of them can write more than maybe 20 words just off the top of their heads. It's much more dangerous environment than what I saw even five years ago in a classroom. So like just even in the last five years, I see a major gravitation toward violent barbaric behaviors and kind of what I see with students is that they're entertained by this.
