Surviving in a School
Homesickness was a big problem for me. I liked singing in the choir, like music and I already liked rugby. The trick of surviving in these schools was to find something you were good at so that you didn't get had at by the teachers. And I did that. I was a survivor, basically. Pretty horrible, I expect. But that's what he was a survivor. It sounds awful, but everyone did. When I think back at it now, an old school friend of mine said: 'It was just what happened'
