Achieving Achievement Can Be Addictive
On a chemical level, achievement and wanting more of what we have already is addictive. And soit's its kind of this virtuous cycle where the more we achieve, the more we want to double down on this one value. So i think that values reflection is so critical here. We've talked about this on the podcast a little but meaning is created when we manifest what we truly value on a deep level. It's not just about pure, unadulterated accomplishment. Because what if you don't want that? What if you want something totally different? How does that fit in within that default conceptualization of productivity?
