The idea is that if we don't have time for our government to go find all these russian oligarch yachts, let's just let american citizens do it. David lat of origin jurisdiction, did ant interview with a law professor at Vanderbilt law school. She explains very calmly, why that's actually a terrible idea, but that it is legal. But her overall sort of fun was constitutionally. It shows you that congress had a big role in not just declaring war, but the actual prosecution of that war as well. And we should absolutely stay away from that here.
