I've always viewed myself as founder first CTO second. And a big part of that is because, you know, a big reason why I started a company was because I wanted to build a product that people used. That's when you realize like, this is what you're really building is an organization that can build good products that people will use. It wasn't until I dove into the CFO function and understood like projections and created a little financial model for myself that I really internalized how the relationship should be between revenue and spend.
