The Collapse of Context

context collapse is the idea that separate contexts between people are becoming harder to maintain. When I share information it's not preserved within the context of people who understand it and so when I say something I want to have the confidence that you know the context under which I'm speaking on. This rich form of common knowledge book context can be lost in social media platforms like Twitter or other social platforms.
