The Effects of MIPS on Brain Injury Risk

There's three levels of protection when it comes to wearing a helmet. MIPS acts as a slip plane, essentially, that goes between your head and the helmet. And what it does is when your helmet hits the ground, your head doesn't rotate with the helmet. That reduces the rotational load that you experience and thus reduces brain injury risk.
