The Benefits of BCAA's

If you've got a short window in between sessions, it's not ideal and convenient to be eating a snack or a meal. Compured BCAA's and whey protein was twice as effective. The theory being is that the branch chain amino acids can start the anabolic response, but they don't provide the substrate. That's where we need all the complement of the essential amino acids. So if you've only got a short turnaround, you know, bang a little whey shaking.
