i met Ralph farnley in venty five at squa vally wriders conference. He was a pretty great poet who ended up teaching at e university of redlands. And he suffered greatly at my hands, because i would tell him, shed like a those who can do those who can't teach. These are grown ups. In their thirties and forties you carve out for them something they love. It's not like being on the standard campus where undergraduates think it's going to be a micky mousecloof course. To say that these classes profoundly different is an understatement.
