The 2008 crash changed the world in a way that no other business has been able to do. It's affected whole societies, the confidence of the West who can ascribe lots of things to 2008. And yet there's no sense of the regulatory system or the penal system dealing with that being proportional to basically. The really question is what public purpose should our banks serve? Should they be private institutions? Should they have shareholder model? Or are they service providers or are they profit making corporations?
