We are marking this month, 70 years of queen elizabeth the second being on the throne in the united king. As a historian of early modern queenship, what is there in your work that resonates to day? Is there any connections you make, or any insight that you have because of your field of study? I think queenship is still about doing the job, and the job is remains in some ways. It is still very much about bearing children. So i think it remains quite a difficult role.
