The Status of India's Jet Engine

India has signed a memorandum of agreement with General Electric to transfer certain amount of jet engine technology. The crucial technology that we are missing is the turbine blade technology. We don't have an engine which can generate a very high temperature higher than what it is but we don't have the ability to create turbine blades that can withstand those temperatures.
