The Ideal Time to Go to Summer Camp

There's this romanticization of like specifically summer camp in the 70s. There was nostalgia for a simpler world where you weren't having technology bombard you all the time that's what summer camp is and it's also you never bored at summer campNever there's activities given to you in a and even though it's potentially militaristic with like it's ordered and structured I mean you do have free time and you get to explore and think about things. It's really true it is kind of the ideal the ideal situation to be in but I would be interested to know if summer camp still require people to not have their phones because that would actually be I kind of doubt it now.
