The euphoria around bitcoin has as much to do with the anxieties dying ideology, which is liberalism. The reason tat it's gone up in value so much is because there's a huge amount of money flowing around the internatinal financial system. But its als are not a currency. I mean, it's an asset, a it has a use, which is basely, but it is broadly untraceable. You can use it to buy drugs on the dark web, and that is something that a lot of people do.
