Is SBB Going to Buy HSBC?
HSBC stepped in to basically guarantee every single depositor. So they didn't bail out the shareholders of SBB, but they did promise that anyone who had money with the bank and would be able to get it out. We don't know how here in the UK they'll necessarily treat the customers or operate the same way. In the past year, because of the financial situation, venture capital funding itself has fallen. However, the bright spot was climatic funding, which continued to grow. Does that get affected now with what's happened at SBB?
